Travel Awards

Member and Affiliate Travel Grants

The Physiological Society Travel Grants are available to Ordinary Members and Affiliates of The Society to attend this meeting. The deadline for all applications is 31 May 2008. Please make a note of this date as, in order to adhere to a tight schedule, no extensions are allowed. For more information on Travel Grants please visit the grants section on our web site

Young Physiologists' Bursaries

The Young Physiologists' Bursary Scheme (YPBS) is in place to encourage young physiologists to attend their first Scientific Meeting of The Society without the need to present an abstract. YPBS is now open to undergraduates in the life sciences with an interest in physiology; who are attending their first meeting; and who aren't presenting work. If presenting work, Affiliates of The Society may apply for an Affiliate Travel Grant (please see above).

Up to 50 bursaries will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis for this meeting. The bursary is available only once for each individual.

If you wish to apply for YPBS you should indicate as such on the registration form. You will be asked to state your current study status and your affiliation. Applications should be received by the close of registration.
