The Blue Riband competition is designed to award the best poster presentation by an Affiliate Member.

Posters will be judged on:

  • the calibre and clarity of scientific data;
  • the communication of the content;
  • the ability of the presenter to answer questions concerning the research and findings.

Affiliate Members should affix the Blue Riband logo (download from The Society web siteURL) to be considered eligible.

A review panel will visit the competition posters and discuss the science with the eligible presenter. Votes will then be tallied, and the presenting author of the winning poster will receive a framed certificate and book token after the Meeting.
